A natural Black mixed woman on this continious journey to find myself while facing the daily misconceptions surrounded by my shade, my hair, the way I laugh, what I wear, what I say basically who I am. A Black woman trying to connect to her past, showing her appreciation daily for it working to reach my highest potiental. I love being Black. I love the culture, the history, the fight that runs through my veins, comes from my lips, displayed in the sway of my hips, is thought in my mind, is felt in my words, seen through my eyes, sensed through my touch. Struggling to make changes in my life and focus on the future, by working hard in the present and not dwelling on the past. I am an Ambitious Black mixed woman on this NATURAL journey called life doing the things I love, being myself and not being apologetic for how I was made and who I am and who I will become.

Mother is Black American. Father German mostly and Jewish. Also Finnish and Polish. Insecure. Confident. Friend. Woman. Black. Mixed.
Trying to fight this battle of getting older. Using every year to get better, to mature, yet retain the youth I feel I am losing.
